Segovia, a bit of old Spain

Shannon and I went to Segovia today. It's an old Spanish town with some amazing sights. Segovia is different than a lot of the places I've seen in Europe. I can't describe it other than to say that it feels enchanted. It still has an old Roman Aqueduct that stretches through the city. I've studied them, but never actually seen one. Then I felt like I was in Disneyland all day because the castle in California is based on the one you see here. The smells of Segovia are unique and amazing, too. Unfortunately the tastes don't match (back to the bocadilla). Anyway, it was a great way to spend a Sunday (btw, today it has been exactly 30 years since Franco died and Spain became free of the dictatorship). I'll post more pics on Flickr next month; I'm out of space at the moment.
